8/29/08 - Chapter 9 of Fire in the Void is availabe.

8/16/08 - For those who love the Shadow Fae series, I hope you'll be happy to know that I will be writing three more books following the adventures of Pook and Alex. The first will be Daughter of Snow; I don't have a release estimate at this time, mainly because I'm still finishing the book at this point.

4/21/08 - At long last, Sorceress Star, the final book in the Moon, Sun, Star series is available for preorder. Considering that Tyrant Moon was originally published in 2002, I know some of you have been waiting a long time (so have I!). The entire first chapter is posted here for you to read while you wait just a bit longer.

Also, the ebook version of Bad-Ass Faeries 2: Just Plain Bad is now available!

4/7/08 - Today marks the one-year anniversary of the death of Du'a Khalil Aswad, who was stoned to death by her family and passers-by because she might have been in love with a man of a different faith. Approximately a month after her death, writer Joss Whedon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Toy Story, etc.) posted an essay on her death that included a call to action. Nothing But Red is the way some authors, artists, and poets decided to respond to that call. The stories, essays, poems, and art within relate in some way to the theme of gender equality; some directly touch upon Du'a's death, while some are more general. Contributors you might have heard of before: Skyla Dawn Cameron (who came up with the idea for the book and did an enormous amount of work to see it come to fruition), Ann Aguirre, Lilth Saintcrow, and myself. Joss Whedon's original essay is also included with his permission. 100% of the royalties will be donated to the charity Equality Now.
