Dramatis Personae

Note: Only new characters are described here, although much of the cast from Wolfkin are also present.

Londah Jonaglir: aka "The Crow Queen." As the most feared assassin in Segg, it is said that the carrion birds of the city have grown fat on all the corpses she has left in her wake--hence the moniker she works under. Cold and ruthless, she is in many ways the perfect killer.

Physical description: Londah is exquisitely beautiful, with pale white skin, black hair, and silver-gray eyes. However, except for one tryst many years ago, she appears to be completely celebate. She is very tall, around 6 feet. Although her true age is 54, she appears to be half that age in human terms.

Lord Fellrant: Fellrant, Lord of Vorslava, is Auglar's chief rival for the throne. Although he was only 15 when he first came to power, his cunning was such that he managed to hold onto power. After the death of Auglar's father, Fellrant besieged Kellsjard in an attempt to expand his own holdings--an attempt that was ultimately unsuccessful.

Physical: Fellrant is small in stature and delicate in build. With black hair and indigo eyes, he could easily be described as beautiful.

Cybelen Jehnava: The only daughter of Jenelese Lord Jehnav, Cybelen is swept up in the events surrounding the struggle for the throne. Although she has lived the sheltered life of a noblewoman, she proves to be level-headed and a clear thinker.

Physical description: Cybelen is a delicate beauty with honey-brown hair and large brown eyes. She appears approximately 18 years old.

Telmonra Jonaglir: Although Telmonra died 300 years ago, her shade has taken up residence in Yozerf's head. She offers her descendent power and the chance for revenge, but her ultimate goal remains unknown.
